Chapman Drink

Chapman is a sweet cocktail originated in Nigeria often served at bars and restaurants. Here are the ingredients you’ll need to whip up your favorite chapman.

What you’ll need

Sprite: This Lemon-lime flavored soft drink with a crisp refreshing taste is one of the main ingredients you’ll need to make chapman.

Fanta: Sharing the spotlight with sprite, Fanta is also the main ingredient when preparing chapman drink. Traditionally measured at a 1:1 ratio with sprite.

Grenadine: This is a bright red, sweet and slightly tart syrup made traditionally from pomegranate. Grenadine give the chapman drink its iconic reddish-pink color.

Aromatic Bitters: Any aromatic bitters will do, the aromatic bitters perfectly balances the overly sweet contents of the drink. Angostura aromatic bitters is a popular brand that can be found in the alcohol/cocktail section of most stores.

Cucumbers: Don’t skip out on the cucumbers as this gives a note of freshness to the drink and it also adds to the overall signature taste.

Lime/Lemon: Add lime or lemon slices for an extra note of citrusy freshness.

Ice: Your favorite drink wouldn’t be complete without a good amount of ice as chapman is best served cold.
